And now for the “fine print”:
It's valid for home inspections performed for home buyers only by participating InterNACHI® members.
The home must be listed for sale with a licensed real estate agent.
The Guarantee excludes homes with material defects not present at the time of the inspection, or not required to be inspected, per InterNACHI's Residential Standards of Practice.
The Guarantee will be honored for 90 days after closing.
We'll pay you whatever price you paid for the home.
Build Fax Property History Report
The Build Fax Property History report is said to tell the "life story" of a building or property. Build Fax primarily works to pull any relevant permit data regarding upgrades and repairs made to the property. This includes details such as:
Major construction: Additions, roof replacement, renovations, plumbing work, electrical modification, demolitions, etc.
Major systems: including the ages for the roof, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning systems, and more.
Contractors: the report tells of general contractor activity in the area of the property as well as which particular contractors have worked on the property.
Risk factors: The report tells you about past events documented in the building, remodel and repair history - both negative and positive.
